SNHU Announces Summer 2024 President's List
It is with great pleasure that Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU) congratulates the following students on being named to the Summer 2024 President's List. The summer terms run from May to August. Full-time undergraduate students who have earned a minimum grade-point average of 3.700 and above for the reporting term are named to the President's List. Full-time status is achieved by earning 12 credits over each 16-week term or paired 8-week terms grouped in fall, winter/spring, and summer.

Honor Roll is a term-specific achievement that recognizes learners who excel at SNHU. It was established in 2022 to help recognize learners who do not qualify for President's List or Dean's List. Eighty-four Angelo State University student-athletes have received 2023-24 Academic Achievement Awards from the Division II Athletic Directors Association (D2 ADA). To be recognized, student-athletes must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.5, have completed at least two years of college work, and have a member of an intercollegiate team during the last academic year. ASU Track & Field Athletes Earn National Academic Honors
Fourteen student-athletes on the Angelo State University Rams and Rambelles track and field teams have been named to the 2024 NCAA Division II All-Academic list by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA). To be eligible, student-athletes must maintain a minimum 3.25 cumulative grade point average, have completed at least 24 credit hours at ASU, and have achieved a provisional qualifying mark during the indoor or outdoor season. The Rambelles have also been named a 2024 All-Academic Team by USTFCCCA for maintaining at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA for all athletes. More than 160 Angelo State University Rams and Rambelles student-athletes have been named to the Lone Star Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll for their academic performance during the spring 2024 semester. To be eligible, student-athletes must have a minimum 3.30 GPA for the semester and be on an active roster. Participants on all 19 LSC championship sports and five non-conference sports, as well as athletic training and athletics performance student staff, are included among the spring 2024 honorees. ASU Track & Field Athletes Earn USTFCCCA All-Region Honors
Twenty-one members of the Angelo State University Rams and Rambelles track and field teams have earned 30 All-South Central Region accolades from the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) for their performances during the 2024 outdoor season. For the Rams, 10 student-athletes garnered 10 all-region honors. For the No. 7 Rambelles, 11 student-athletes notched 20 all-region honors, including three each for junior Maricia Spence of Christiana, Jamaica (heptathlon, long jump, 4x100 relay), and sophomore Fatoumata Kabo of Carpenedolo, Italy (400-meter hurdles, 4x400 relay, 4x100 relay). The top five individuals in each event are named all-region, as well as the members of the top three teams in each relay event. Next up for many of the Rams and Belles is the NCAA Division II Outdoor National Championships May 23-25 in Emporia, Kansas. ASU Track & Field Athletes Earn All-Conference Honors
Twenty-three members of the Angelo State University track and field teams have been named to the All-Lone Star Conference Teams for their performances at the LSC Outdoor Championships held May 9-11 at ASU. The No. 7 Rambelles placed second at the LSC Championships, winning five LSC titles and earning nine All-LSC first-team selections, three on the All-LSC second team and one on the All-LSC third team. The Rams placed fourth on the men's side, notching two LSC titles and earning five All-LSC first-team honorees, four on the All-LSC second team and one on the All-LSC third team. ASU Track & Field Athletes Earn All-Conference Honors
Twenty-one student-athletes on the Angelo State University track and field teams have earned All-Lone Star Conference honors for their performances during the 2024 LSC Indoor Championships. The ASU honors are highlighted by three superlative awards. Elvis Kryukov of Limassol, Cyprus, was named the LSC Indoor Outstanding Male Field Athlete after winning the heptathlon. Maricia Spence of Christiana, Jamaica, was named the Outstanding Female Track Athlete after winning the pentathlon and 60-meter hurdles. (Chloe) Abby Zamzow of Bowie was named the Outstanding Femal Field Athlete after winning both the long jump and the triple jump. Also making the All-LSC first team for the Rams were Josh Body of Abilene, Tristan Guerrero of Coahoma, Max Wassmer of Gueberschwihr, France, Bossman Pinkrah of Accra, Ghana, and Prince Frimpong of Kumasi, Ghana. Making the All-LSC second team for the Rams were (Thomas) David Morgan of Lubbock, Kyle Lumpkins of Junction, Mark Burdin of Kazan, Russia, (William) Cole Paxton of Brackettville and Jacobee Jones of Rowlett. Also earning All-LSC first-team honors for the Rambelles were Kylyie Paden of Portales, N.M., and Shadae Findley of Manchester, Jamaica. Making the All-LSC second team were Kylie Frush of Glen Rose, Anna Riccomagno of Caraglio, Italy; Jacent Nyamahunge of Hoima, Uganda; and Fatoumata Kabo of Italy. Earning All-LSC third-team honors were Allison Vaughn of Christoval and Ariyah Samuels of Blanco. The All-LSC first team consists of event winners, all members of winning relay teams, and athletes scoring at least 14 points at the LSC Championships. Second-team honors go to all members of second-place relay teams and athletes who score 8-13 points. Third-team honors go to all members of third-place relay teams and athletes who scored 6-8 points. Nearly 180 Angelo State University student-athletes have been named to the Lone Star Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll for their academic performance during the fall 2023 semester. To be eligible, a student-athlete must post a minimum 3.30 grade point average (GPA) for the specified semester and be on a team roster. ASU Track & Field Athletes Earn LSC Preseason Honors
Four student-athletes on the Angelo State University indoor track and field teams have been named Lone Star Conference Preseason Athletes to Watch in advance of the 2024 season. For the Rams, senior Elvis Kryukov of Limassol, Cyprus, and graduate student David Morgan of Lubbock made the Preseason Athletes to Watch list. Kryukov is the two-time defending NCAA Division II national champion in the decathlon and a 2023 All-American in the indoor heptathlon. Morgan, a sprinter, earned All-LSC recognition during the 2023 outdoor season, as well as regional and national academic awards. For the Rambelles, seniors Maricia Spence and Shadae Findley of Jamaica made the Preseason Athletes to Watch list. Spence is a 2023 All-American in multiple events, including the indoor pentathlon and 4X400 relay. Findley is a 2023 All-American in the 400 meters and 4X400 relay.
