A total of 25 Angelo State University track and field athletes have earned All-Lone Star Conference accolades for their performances at the 2023 LSC Outdoor Championships. The Rams put 12 athletes on the All-LSC team, including six on the first team and six on the second team. The Rambelles earned 13 All-LSC selections, including five on the first team, six on the second team and two on the third team. Both the Rams and Rambelles finished second at the conference meet. Two hundred and one Ole Miss students were recognized as Who's Who Among Students at the University of Mississippi during a ceremony on April 14 at the Gertrude C. Ford Center for the Performing Arts. Who's Who Among Students is a respected honor program recognizing seniors who excel academically and demonstrate leadership and community service on and off campus.

Over 170 Angelo State University student-athletes and student-athletic trainers have been named to the Lone Star Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll for the 2022 fall semester in recognition of their hard work in the classroom. A total of 171 Rams and Rambelles made the honor roll, including 65 with a perfect 4.0 grade point average. Angelo State University student-athletes Sophia Berg of Georgetown and (Thomas) David Morgan of Lubbock have earned the 2021-22 Lone Star Conference Scholar-Athlete Awards for ASU. Each academic year, the LSC presents a Scholar-Athlete Award to one male and one female student-athlete at member institutions. The winners are selected as representatives of the outstanding accomplishments in athletics, scholarship and leadership that are displayed on each LSC campus during the year. To be eligible, student-athletes must have competed at least two years in their sport and be members of the graduating class. Berg was the LSC Academic Player of the Year for volleyball and earned All-America and Academic All-America honors. She graduated summa cum laude in May with her Bachelor of Science degree in biology. Morgan earned track and field All-LSC honors and qualified for the NCAA Division II Outdoor National Championships, where he finished 15th in the 100 meters.
